80*2*90 are sad to announce, that guitarist, Nick Wellings will be leaving the band after the June 16th gig at Walsham Blue Boar. We all hope Nick continues with his love of music in some way.

However, the show must go on, and 80*2*90 will begin the difficult search for a replacement.

If you feel you fit the bill for Lead Guitarist in 80*2*90, and are interested in joining please feel free to email us on band@80-2-90.com, and we will set up an audition. All we require from you is a love of 1980's Rock/"Hair" Metal, a good playing ability, especially lead guitar, as you will be responsible for 90% of the solos, Own gear essential, own transport a huge benefit, and it doesn't matter if you are male or female.

We generally expect to rehearse once a week, and gig twice a month.

All other equipment is supplied, (Full professional PA system, Pro Light Rig and all that goeas with it), we just need you, your guitar, and your ability to shred.

We have gigs booked up to the end of 2012, so you won't be sitting around waitng to gig.
